Code of Conduct

CTB Meter readers:

• Meter readers all wear CTB branded shirts and/or jackets and caps.
• Meter readers have a meter reader ID card reflecting expiry date to present to any party that might want to identify them. (These are issued annually)
• Our meter readers have strict code of conduct and their function is to perform the meter readings on site with as little or no interference to any occupants as possible.
• Our thinking is that we almost do not want the occupants to know that we were there as to not allow for any thoughts of us interrupting or intruding on their privacy.
• Once the readings are done, the readers have to leave the building premises immediately and have breaks and lunch off site for the above reasons.
• We can assure the occupants, owners and tenants that our staff are reliable and honest and have never had an incident of anything being stolen or any such negative matters. Should any negative matters arise, we can assure you that we will deal with it quickly and decisively. Our reputation and relationship with all parties is too important to us to allow any such matters to occur.
